We call ourselves "human beings" but, truth be told, we are more like "human doings". Our minds are busy, busy, busy. We often find ourselves anywhere BUT the present moment. Mindfulness is a state of being wherein we attend to the present moment. Using the Four Foundations of Mindfulness, we can practice focusing our attention on right now, bringing clarity and calm into our daily lives.
INTERESTED? I will run a 6-week mindfulness course on beginning in March, 2020. This course will focus on the threes foundation of mindfulness: awareness of the body, awareness of feelings, and awareness of the mind. The course will come with a printed manual, various formal and informal practices, and prepare your for participation in a tentative mindfulness group practice.
