Informed by Western science and traditional yoga this 6-week programme will offer simple and supportive practices to individuals living with chronic stress or anxiety, a stress-related disorder, or simply wanting to develop skills to help build resilience to stress.

You do not need to have had any prior experience of Yoga or fit any stereotypical idea of what a Yoga practitioner looks like. Classes are inclusive of everyone and practices will be modified to suit your specific requirements.
Regular and consistent practice is key to the overall effectiveness of these techniques. To reinforce the learning and provide a framework for continued self-regulation, all participants will be provided with short, simple practices and tools for use at home.

- mindful breath-based yoga movement (asana) to dissipate nervous energy
- supported restorative yoga postures that facilitate deep rest, relaxation and the release of physical and emotional tension
- safe and effective breathing techniques (pranayama) to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, balance the stress response system, and help regulate the mind and emotions
- receiving guidance, encouragement, and support in integrating these practices into your daily life.
