COVID-19 Class Announcement
Thank you for your interest and support during this time of uncertainty. We are all processing our experiences in our own way. If I can be helpful to you, please feel free to reach out via email at the address listed above. This is a whole new world. We are in need of creative ways to cultivate connection, clarity, and calm. Yoga practice contributes to these intentions.

During the current 4-week yoga courses, Flourish is:
1. Holding yoga class in a larger space 
2. Recording attendance for contact tracing
3. Recommending that participants to bring their own yoga gear to class (studio gear may be provided if required)
4. All payments made via bank funds transfer

Summer Outdoor Community Yoga

Bring a mat, bring a blanket or towel, and join us for an outdoor yoga class!
We will enjoy a basic vinyasa flow yoga class on the grass, in the sunshine. 
Classes are donation-based/Koha and drop-in (no need to pre-register!)

DATES: Thursdays, January 7 - 28
TIME: 12pm - 1pm
LOCATION: Te Anau School field (In case of inclement weather, class will move into the Te Anau School Hall)
COST: Donation/Koha
Monday Evening Yoga: Basic Yoga Flow 
Begin the week with a basic sequence of yoga postures designed to accommodate Monday energy levels (sometimes the beginning of the week can be rough!) and focus attention inwardly.

This session will also explore how different postures elicit different experiences, physically, emotionally, and mentally. We will take some time to press the "pause" button for reflection at the end of each class. All levels are welcome.

Thursday Morning Yoga: Mindful Movement
Yoga often begins as a physical practice called "asana" and refers to the physical postures practiced on the mat. In fact, many have come to think of "yoga" as asana practice. However, asana can be used as a contemplative practice, what we might call a "work-in" rather than a "workout".

Over four weeks we will explore the "feel" of yoga practice by focusing on a specific type of movement during each class and taking time to reflect and revel in the "after glow". Together we will look inward, lean in gently and listen deeply.

This class is open to all levels, however it may not be suitable for those who are new to yoga. If you have any concerns, please contact me via email (address at the top of the page).
