MINDFUL MOVEMENT FOR KIDS
Practices that bring our attention into the present moment calm the body and the mind, reducing stress levels and help cultivate feelings of well-being. Mindful Movement class uses yoga-based movements and basic mindfulness tools to explore the mind/body connection with a kid-friendly approach.
Mindful Movement class encourages young participants to take these practices outside of class, exploring how they navigate other parts of their lives, from relationships to homework.
WHEN: Tuesdays, 4pm - 4:45pm, 7 May - 11 June
AGES: 7years - 9years
WHERE: Community Room behind Fiordland Medical Centre (rear parking lot; past St. Johns)
COST: $50
YOGA FOR TEENS
Yoga for Teens encourages students to disconnect from devices and reconnect to the body. Yoga movements and breathing exercises allow the mind and body to recharge, relieving stress and encouraging well being. Along the way we will build strength, flexibility, self-confidence and concentration and, of course, we'll have some fun! All gear is provided for each class. Interested?
